Inserts with six, 90° segments of 6 mm radii round cutting edges provide ramping down capability required for profiling applications.
HELIDO H606 double-sided inserts provide 6 x 90° cutting edges, both with ramping down capability. The double-sided durable insert shape and a very rigid dovetail clamping pocket design comply with high productivity and demanding high machining load solutions. Despite its negative axial orientation, the cutting rake face is very positive; similar to the rake angles of regular positive round inserts.
