The HTP... plungers were designed for milling narrow cavities and for small corner radii when tool diameters smaller than 50 mm are required. The insert pocket features high durability and excellent cutting performance. The tools have coolant holes for efficient edge flushing and chip evacuation. The HTP LNHT 1006 ER grounded insert features four cutting edges tangentially clamped with positive rake face for reduced cutting forces and finishing cut. The insert orientation on the tool results in excellent machined surface flatness and compensates for the tool’s deviation due to side bending, reduces machining cycle time.
