Strut arm milling and drilling

Specially-Tailored


ISCAR designed a specially combined solution for milling and drilling operations. The tool consists of two slot cutters mounted with Tangentially clamped LNAT 15 inserts. The precise tool assembly overhang is achieved with two ground spacers for use in multi-spindle machines. On the front a special step drill is mounted with a SUMOCHAM ICK head and on the rear AOMT 06 inserts to machine the strut arm hole and chamfer. A set screw can adjust the drill precisely with an axial overhang for use in Multi Spindle machines.
