Micro Tools manufactures millions of blank carbide
tips for manufacturers of paint spraying nozzles. These are
characterized by their excellent wear resistance, dimensional
repetitiveness and tight tolerances, uniform spray patterns
and low price. Micro Tools also provides sub-assembled paint
spray nozzles made from a combination of materials, such
as stainless steel housing with carbide inserts used
for spraying ceramics and other highly abrasive materials.
The company has developed a unique, ultra-hard material with
extraordinarily low wear for the manufacture of orifices used
by manufacturers of micro abrasive spraying systems for
aluminum oxide. Orifices can be round or rectangular.
Since the carbide tips are pressed one by one, porosity is nearly
zero, resulting in excellent wear characteristics.
